Job summary

Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Lead Cat Scan (CT) Technologist to oversee imaging operations and provide expert CT services. This full-time role focuses on technical excellence and staff leadership to ensure high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT Radiography certification with CT eligibility, NM radiography license (CT license or provisional), and 3–5 years of experience, including supervisory responsibilities, to drive performance and growth within the

Qualifications

  • ARRT Radiography certification required; CT or CT eligible.
  • NM Radiography license required; CT license or CT provisional.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Three to five years of technical experience; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Lead responsibilities include staff evaluations, recruitment, and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Performs technical functions with accuracy based on assignment and competency.
  • Evaluates studies and performance for technical quality.
  • Maintains proper record keeping and documentation.
  • Recommends performance evaluations for imaging services staff.
  • Participates in performance improvement initiatives and employee counseling.
  • Assists with recruitment, interviews, and hiring for vacant positions in area of responsibility.
  • Assists with procurement and storage of supplies.
  • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.

How you'll contribute

A Lead Cat Scan (CT) Technologist who excels in this role:

  • Performs technical functions with accuracy, based on assignment, licensure and competency.

  • Evaluates studies and performance for technical quality.

  • Responsible for appropriate record keeping, procedure formulation and documentation.

  • Recommends performance evaluations on imaging services team members

  • Participates in performance improvement place and employee counselings

  • Recruits, interviews and hires for any vacant positions within area of responsibility

  • Assists with procurement and storage of supplies

  • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth

What we're looking for

Applicants should have an associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic sciences. Additional requirements include:

  • License/Certifications:

    • ARRT Radiography required. ARRT CT or CT eligible required.

  • NM license in Radiography required.NM license in CT or CT Provisional required.

  • BLS required.

  • Three to five years of technical experience required. Supervisory experience preferred.
