Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Casino Operations Shift Manager designee in Missouri to coordinate pit procedures and supervise the Slots and Table Games departments. The role requires maintaining professionalism with guests and staff while enforcing company policies and regulatory requirements.

You will also support talent processes, including interviews and dealer training, with a focus on high performance and compliance.

Coordinate and implement the pit procedures. Maintain two-way communication with subordinates to ensure awareness of new policies or procedures. Maintain a high degree of professionalism when dealing with subordinates and guests. Act as a Casino Operations Shift Manager designee at times in which may be responsible for taxable jackpots in slots.

• Adhere to guest service requirement listed above.
• This position has oversight of both the Slots and Table Games department.
• Adhere to, interpret, support, and explain established company policies and procedures as well as applicable local, state, federal and other regulatory procedures.
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times, supporting the policies of Senior Management of the casino as well as Senior Management of Ameristar Casino Resort – St. Charles.
• This is a non-uniformed position, which requires the team member be in compliance with non-uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
• Must maintain the strictest confidence pertaining to any and all confidential and proprietary information disclosed by an Ameristar entity or by a guest of Ameristar Casinos.
• Address team member questions and concerns; conduct internal investigations as needed.
• Assist the Talent Team with interviews and make recommendations on those to hire.
• Train and develop dealers to ensure highest level of performance.
