Job summary

Belterra Casino Resort in Indiana is seeking a Bartender to provide superior beverage service to guests and cocktail staff, pouring drinks to recipe guidelines and maintaining a clean, compliant bar area.

The role requires bartending experience, knowledge of bar operations, Indiana liquor regulations, and the ability to supervise cocktail servers while ensuring accurate handling of the cash drawer and compliance with age restrictions.

Qualifications

Knowledge and ability to mix a wide variety of drinks.
Excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge of the operation of all bar equipment.
Ability to direct cocktail servers.
Must be able to obtain and maintain licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
Indiana ABC Permit (Liquor License) required.
Bartender experience required.
MUST be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

Provides superior customer service and ensures positive interactions with customers and employees.
Maintains company funds and equipment in an orderly manner.
Pours drinks according to established recipes and maintains a clean and safe work environment.
Complies with Project 21 – Minors in Casino.
Demonstrates products and ordering procedures.
Monitors par levels of all supplies at assigned bars.
Communicates issues to supervisor as needed.
Maintains security and accuracy of assigned bank and handles overages/shortages.
Opens and closes bar according to procedures.
Provides work direction for bar attendants.
