Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier and/or Stocker to lead in the absence of store management, assist with plan-o-grams, and deliver exemplary customer service to maximize profitability and safety.

Duties include unloading trucks, stocking, processing transactions at the register, maintaining cleanliness, assisting customers, and following SOPs with a focus on accuracy, security, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math including percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Experience with IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of safety and loss prevention policies.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and apply plan-o-gram and merchandising guidance.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and process incoming shipments.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise; build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; operate cash register and process payments.
• Greet customers and provide superior service; help set up displays.
• Open/close store per SOPs and assist in cash handling and deposits.
