Job summary

ULTA Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier in Wethersfield, Connecticut, responsible for guest transactions and cashwrap standards. The role includes training new cashiers, maintaining store aesthetics, and assisting in store events to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and sales competency.
• Experience addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Demonstrated experience exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding sales and service goals.
• Ensure exceptional service by greeting and recommending products.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously.
• Support store events and methods for an exceptional guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all cashwrap displays.

Skills

Proficient with basic technology (POS system and Apple devices)

Excellent written and verbal communication

Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships

Ability to react under pressure, use good judgment, and be flexible

Education
