Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or fuel retail environments is beneficial.
• Ability to handle cash, credit, and mobile payments.
• Ability to lead a small team and coordinate with other shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of 1–2 cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures.
• Follow company and local guidelines regarding sale of restricted merchandise (e.g., alcohol, tobacco).
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products.
• Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest.
• Handle guest complaints and issues per company processes; resolve team conflicts; report to management.
• Determine break schedules and team placement during shift.
• Assist with other travel center functions (deli, showers/restrooms, stocking, making coffee).
• Model company values; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
• Ensure activities comply with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
