Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Lead Cashier for a full-time role at our Evansville campus. You will maintain guest services at the service desk, expedite transactions, and ensure accuracy and security of cash and media.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and provides outstanding service while managing PoS transactions.
• Oversees returns, exchanges, credits, and cash/media control at PoS.
• Helps train cashiers and cross-trains associates.
• Prepares daily deposits and media; may access safe if required.
• Ensures policy compliance and supports loss prevention efforts.
• Oversees cashier scheduling, breaks, and performance issues.
• Maintains front-end supplies and assists with merchandising tasks.
• Covers cashier shifts when needed and performs other duties.
