Job summary

The Home Depot in Evansville is seeking a Head Cashier to lead cashiers and ensure fast, friendly, accurate service at checkout areas. You will monitor Self-Checkout, handle transactions, and escalate issues as needed while supporting front-end staff.

You will proactively gain product knowledge, identify selling opportunities, and help train new cashiers to maintain high standards of customer service and shrink prevention.

Qualifications

• Head Cashier preferred qualification: 1+ years of Cashier experience.
• Coach and train new Cashiers using available tools.
• Provide first-level escalation for customer issues.

Responsibilities

• Process Checkout and/or Return transactions.
• Monitor and maintain Self-Checkout area.
• Provide information and identify selling opportunities.
• Coach and train other Front End Associates.
