Job Description

Pay Rates Starting between: $11.54 - $16.08 / hour

The primary responsibility of this role is to process merchandise and fuel transactions.

Essential Functions include:

1. Lead a shift of one to two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions.
2. Complete end-of-shift reports and close-out procedures.
3. Follow company and local guidelines regarding the sale of restricted merchandise such as alcohol and tobacco.
4. Maintain an organized and clean work area.
5. Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products.
6. Provide quality service to every guest.
7. Handle guest complaints and issues following company processes; resolve team member conflicts; communicate issues to management.
8. Complete transactions such as Western Union, customer refunds, and other complex transactions.
9. Determine break schedules and team member placement during shifts.
10. Assist with other travel center functions such as maintaining the deli, cleaning showers and restrooms, stocking, and making coffee.
11. Model behaviors that support the company's purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
12. Ensure all activities comply with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
