IICRC is seeking a Lead Carpet Cleaning Restoration Technician to join our Camden, NJ team. You will own field projects, supervise operations, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while growing technical skills.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on cleaning/restoration experience, strong communication, and a drive to lead. Growth opportunities include advanced training, certifications, and expanding responsibilities as the business scales.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in carpet cleaning, water mitigation/restoration, or related hands-on service.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Dependable, professional, and takes ownership of work.
• Able to learn new processes, equipment, and service techniques.
• Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for job documentation.
• Able to perform physical requirements of cleaning and restoration work.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and driving requirements.
• IICRC certifications such as CCT or WRT are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional carpet, upholstery, floor, and specialty cleaning services.
• Assist with water mitigation and restoration services.
• Evaluate job-site conditions and communicate recommended services to customers.
• Deliver a professional, positive customer experience from arrival through job completion.
• Complete work orders, photos, job notes, moisture logs, and other documentation accurately and on time.
• Properly operate, clean, and maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Follow safety procedures, service standards, and job-site protocols.
• Identify opportunities for additional services that may benefit the customer.
• Support and help train additional technicians as the team grows.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional certifications.
• Cross-train in additional restoration services (mold remediation, fire/smoke restoration, odor control).
• Lead by example and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture.

What You’ll Do

As a Lead Carpet Cleaning & Restoration Technician, you’ll play an important role in both serving our customers and helping build a strong field operation.

You will:

• Perform professional carpet, upholstery, floor, and specialty cleaning services.
• Assist with and perform water mitigation and restoration services.
• Evaluate job-site conditions and communicate recommended services to customers.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines a strong work ethic with excellent communication and a willingness to learn.

Preferred qualifications include:

• 1–3 years of experience in carpet cleaning, water mitigation/restoration, cleaning services, construction, maintenance, or another hands-on service industry.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned work.
• Ability to learn new processes, equipment, technology, and service techniques.
• Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for job documentation and communication.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with cleaning and restoration work.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements.

IICRC certifications such as CCT or WRT are a plus, but not required. We value candidates who are willing to learn and continue developing their skills.
