Job summary

Voda Cleaning & Restoration is hiring a Lead Carpet Cleaning & Restoration Technician to join our growing team. This is more than a technician role.

We want someone who takes ownership of their work, delivers an exceptional customer experience, and helps set the standard for our field team as the business grows. You’ll lead professional carpet, upholstery, floor, and specialty cleaning, assist with water mitigation and restoration, and evaluate job sites, while training newer technicians as the

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in carpet cleaning, water mitigation/restoration, cleaning services, construction, maintenance or similar hands-on service.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new processes, equipment and techniques.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform professional carpet, upholstery, floor, and specialty cleaning.
• Assist with and perform water mitigation and restoration services.
• Evaluate job sites and recommend services to customers.
• Deliver a professional, positive customer experience from arrival to completion.
• Complete work orders, photos, job notes, and moisture logs accurately and on time.
• Operate, clean, and maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Follow safety procedures, service standards, and job-site protocols.
• Identify additional services that may benefit the customer.
• Help train new technicians as the team grows.
• Pursue ongoing training and certifications, and cross-train in mold remediation, fire and smoke restoration, odor control, and other specialty services.
• Lead by example and contribute to a positive, accountable team culture.

What We’re Looking For

• 1-3 years of experience in carpet cleaning, water mitigation/restoration, cleaning services, construction, maintenance, or another hands‑on service industry (preferred)
• Strong customer-service and communication skills
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable owning assigned work
• Willingness to learn new processes, equipment, and techniques
• Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for documentation
• Ability to meet the physical demands of cleaning and restoration work
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

IICRC certifications such as CCT or WRT are a plus but not required.
