Job summary

TR Building & Remodeling in New Canaan, CT, seeks a Residential Remodeling Project Manager to lead high-end projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring quality. You will coordinate subcontractors, read plans, manage schedules and budgets, and maintain proactive homeowner communication to deliver on time and within budget.

Starting salary is $100,000 with annual bonuses, a monthly vehicle and cell phone stipend, two weeks of paid vacation, holidays, health insurance, and an IRA

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of high-end residential remodeling or construction project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and sequencing.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • A customer-first mindset with the ability to build trust with homeowners and subcontractors.
  • Experience managing schedules, budgets, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software such as BuilderTrend (willing to train).

  • Manage project budgets, change orders, subcontractor invoices, and job costs.
  • Conduct weekly client production meetings and provide consistent project updates.
  • Manage punch lists throughout the project to ensure a smooth, high-quality completion.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
  • Open and close job sites on a daily basis.

As our Residential Remodeling Project Manager, you'll oversee multiple high-end remodeling projects from pre-construction through completion. What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of high-end residential remodeling or construction project management experience (or equivalent leadership experience as a Lead Carpenter ready to transition into project management).
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and sequencing.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • A customer-first mindset with the ability to build trust with homeowners and subcontractors.
  • Experience managing schedules, budgets, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software such as BuilderTrend (willing to train).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional, clean, smoke-free job sites.
  • Starting at: $100,000 annual salary (DOE)
  • Annual bonuses (based on PM’s and company performance)
