Hurst Construction, Inc. in the Kansas City metro and Lawrence area is seeking a Carpenter (Field Tech) to build high-end, design-driven residential projects under a Lead Carpenter, reading architectural drawings and delivering precise workmanship.

You'll join a small crew, moving between projects to gain range, with a clear path from Carpenter to Lead Carpenter. On-site role offers consistent hours, competitive hourly pay, bonuses, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Real carpentry experience, residential preferred.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and build to them.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a crew.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Frame, trim, and finish to a high standard on custom residential projects.
• Install protection systems to keep homes pristine.
• Install millwork and cabinetry built in-house.
• Work from drawings and flag conflicts on site.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized job site.
• Coordinate daily with Lead Carpenter and trades on site.
• Care for tools, materials, and client property.
