Job summary

Essel seeks an experienced Carpenter Foreman to supervise carpentry projects and lead a crew on commercial sites. You will plan work schedules, manage resources, and enforce quality control throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timely, safe, and compliant execution.

You will mentor team members, coordinate with clients and contractors, and maintain records of operations while upholding OSHA and company safety practices.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level rough and finish carpentry duties.
• Ability to review project plans and blueprints.
• Detail-oriented with strong planning skills.
• Comfort working on commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide journeyman-level rough and finish carpentry work.
• Review project plans and blueprints for accuracy.
• Estimate time, materials, and equipment needs.
• Track production rates of self-performed work.
• Develop work schedules and crew assignments.
• Maintain safety training and JHAs for crews.
• Keep records of operations and production data.
• Monitor inventories and request supplies.
• Ensure work areas comply with company standards.
• Coordinate with clients and contractors professionally.
