Job summary

Heyday Build in Los Angeles is seeking a Lead Carpenter / Construction Supervisor to oversee daily field operations on our custom residential projects in the Altadena area.

You will manage subcontractors, schedule work, ensure safety and quality, and communicate with project managers, trades, and clients. This is a full-time, salaried on-site leadership role, with opportunities to shape growing company culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in residential construction.
• Experience managing custom or high-end homes.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents.
• Knowledge of scheduling, code compliance, and quality control.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

We're seeking a Construction Supervisor to lead daily field operations and ensure our custom home projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. You will be the go-to person on site, managing subcontractors, coordinating schedules, solving problems, and keeping quality and timelines on track. You will also serve as a key liaison between the project manager, trades, and clients, so strong communication and organizational skills are essential. This is a full time, salaried supervisory role focused on site leadership rather than hands on construction labor.
