Job summary

JB Consulting Systems LLC is seeking a Lead Carpenter for full-time, Monday–Friday work in the New Hampshire Seacoast region. The role focuses on managing residential remodel projects, delivering quality workmanship, and maintaining superb client relations.

You will lead crews, enforce safety and budgets, and drive project success.

Qualifications

• 5 years of lead carpenter experience.
• Must be well organized and motivated.
• Proficient speaking, writing, and communicating in English.

Responsibilities

• Proactive problem-solving.
• Ensure workmanship meets company standards.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, supervisor and staff.
• Complete all required production reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Proactive problem-solving.

• Nothing less than our company standard and excellent quality workmanship.

• Clear and regular communication with customers, supervisor, and staff.

• Completion of all necessary production reporting as required.

• Prompt attendance at all required staff and department meetings.

• Willingness to aggressively resolve conflicts and issues promptly and effectively with a \u201Cwin-win\u201D mindset.

• Create a working environment that brings the best out in other employees and that uses time as efficiently as possible.

• Be knowledgeable of all carpentry techniques related to residential construction and remodeling and/or be responsible to gain knowledge in areas lacking.

Qualifications

• Have 5 years of lead carpenter experience.

• Be well organized and motivated.

• Proficient speaking, writing, and communicating in the English language.

• Competent mathematical skills.

• Working knowledge of computers including email, word processing, and spreadsheets.

• Preferred knowledge and experience in JobTread construction software but will consider working knowledge of other construction software like Procore, BuilderTrend, CoConstruct, etc.

• Maintain a valid driver’s license and state-required insurance.

About the Position

The Lead Carpenter position is responsible for the management of residential construction projects ranging in size and scope, from small bath remodels to the construction of custom new homes. Your main goals are to build projects within the set budget and develop a good relationship with the client with the end result being a profitable project and a happy customer.
