Hill Top Craftsmen LLC in Spokane, WA is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter who will lead a field crew while staying hands-on. You’ll oversee framing, additions, remodels, and other carpentry tasks, ensuring safety, quality, and on-schedule delivery.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior carpenters, reading blueprints, and coordinating with subcontractors and clients. A strong craftsmanship mindset and clear communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on residential construction experience with a strong carpentry and framing background.
• Experience leading crews as a Lead Carpenter, Crew Lead, Foreman, or similar field leadership role.
• Ability to read blueprints and translate plans into efficient field execution.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Experience using construction technology such as Buildertrend, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar platforms is a plus.

Hill Top Craftsmen is looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter who takes pride in producing exceptional work while leading a crew in the field. If you're an accomplished carpenter with strong framing experience, whether it's commercial or residential, and enjoy mentoring others while staying hands-on, we'd love to meet you.

This isn't a management role where you spend the day behind a desk. You'll work alongside your crew, oversee daily construction activities, and help ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our clients expect.

What You'll Do

As our Lead Carpenter, you'll:
