Job summary

Custom Craft in Lansdale, PA is seeking a Lead Carpenter to lead residential remodeling projects while staying hands-on in the field. You’ll own project coordination, communicate clearly with homeowners, and guide the crew to daily jobsite execution.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of remodeling or custom home experience, strong carpentry skills, and the ability to read blueprints. You’ll mentor junior carpenters, document progress, and uphold schedules and safety on every site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential remodeling or custom home construction experience.
• Proven experience leading projects or coordinating field crews.
• Strong carpentry skills including framing, finish work, trim, cabinetry, and remodeling.
• Comfortable using construction management software and digital tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Professional carpentry tools.

You're an experienced carpenter who enjoys more than just the craft. You like keeping projects organized, solving problems before they happen, and building strong relationships with homeowners and your team.

At Custom Craft, we're looking for a Lead Carpenter who combines exceptional craftsmanship with leadership. You'll remain hands-on in the field while taking ownership of project coordination, communication, and daily jobsite execution to ensure every remodel exceeds expectations.
