Independence Village of Ames is seeking a Lead Caregiver to provide caring, personalized assistance to residents in our community. You will lead a team, uphold 1440 care standards, and ensure timely communication with families while delivering compassionate daily care.

Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, dining assistance, medication reminders, and documentation per company policy. Weekend/on-call availability may be required, with a focus on resident well-being and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA or MA with 2 years related experience or training.
• CPR/First Aid certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to follow written, oral, and visual instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and accountability for team performance.
• Uphold 1440 care standards for residents and families.
• Communicate with families timely and clearly.
• Provide Bathing, grooming, dining and medication reminder assistance.
