Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking experienced caregivers in Seattle. Lead Caregivers will support critical shifts, cover new clients, and train new caregivers within a 30-mile radius. Valid CNA or HCA license, WA driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance are required.

Open availability, willingness to travel, and comfort with pets/smokers are essential. Lead pay is $26 per hour with benefits and reliable weekly pay. Equal opportunity employer committed to quality in-home care.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CNA or HCA license.
• WA state driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance in your name.
• Open availability and ability to work short-notice shifts.
• Experience with Hoyer Lift and working with multiple care levels.
• Willing to travel within a 30‑mile radius of home.
• Must be comfortable with pets and smokers.

Responsibilities

• Lead Caregivers provide coverage for critical shifts, including fill-ins, onboarding new clients, and training new caregivers.
• Available on short notice during assigned times and within FRHC service areas.
• Contribute to high‑quality in‑home care and support for clients and families.

Our Seattle branch is looking for experienced caregivers to join our team! We do require valid CNA or HCA license. In addition, we do require a valid WA state driver’s license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance in your name.

Lead Caregiver Summary

Our Lead Caregivers are experienced individuals who help with our most critical shifts. This includes but is not limited to fill-ins, new clients and training shifts with new caregivers. The primary responsibilities include the Caregiver Job Duties listed below. Our Lead Caregivers must be available to work on short notice during their assigned availability times with and with any FRHC client within a 30-mile radius from your home and clients within your branches service areas.

Lead Caregiver Pay Rate

$26 hourly

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Transporting clients for errands or appointments in your car
• Assisting with gait belt or Hoyer transfers
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Active state NAC/CNA or HCA license preferred but not required
• One year experience in home care, AFH, hospital or nursing home setting
• Ability to lift to 50lbs
• Ability to provide more than companionship care and work with different care levels
• Smart phone with ability to download and utilize the AxisCare app
• WA Only – Current valid CEs if you are an HCA
