Job summary

Life’s At Home Care is seeking a Lead Care Provider (Floater) to deliver exceptional care while supporting the team across Hampton Roads. This full-time role guarantees 40 hours per week and pays weekly.

You’ll mentor fellow caregivers and travel between client homes in Suffolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Newport News and Hampton. Certification (PCA/CNA/NA) is required, plus at least 1 year of caregiving experience.

Qualifications

Active PCA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant certification is required.
At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Travel between client homes in Suffolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Newport News and Hampton.
Cover shifts (Mon-Fri, 9 AM–5 PM).
Mentor and support caregivers in the field.
Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, feeding).
Light housekeeping and laundry.
Meal preparation and dietary assistance.
Medication reminders and documentation.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with new client transitions and special assignments.
