Job summary

Home Instead is hiring a Care Pro Lead to support older adults in their homes across the greater Philadelphia area. This full-time role requires calm, dependable care professionals who can handle a variety of clients and start-ups, and step in for urgent coverage.

The position offers guaranteed 40 hours per week (Sunday-Thursday 8:00am-8:00pm), competitive pay of $20.00-$22.50/hr, and weekly pay. Mileage reimbursement and paid training are provided, with 24/7 support from the CARE Team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional caregiving experience, non-family, OR active CNA, HHA, LPN, or RN credential.
• Experience with personal care, transfers, dementia care, and end-of-life support.
• Calm, confident, and professional approach in changing or challenging care situations.
• Strong communication skills with clients, families, office staff, and fellow caregivers.
• Comfortable supporting and guiding other caregivers when needed.
• Comfortable using a smartphone app for scheduling and care documentation.
• Basic English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with dementia care and end-of-life care needs.

Schedule, Travel & Requirements

• Must be available Sunday-Thursday from 8:00am-8:00pm to qualify for guaranteed 40 full-time hours
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 60 minutes to client homes
• Comfortable working in different Philadelphia-area home environments, including houses, apartments, condos, townhomes, buildings with stairs or elevators, homes with pets, and smoking environments
• Ability to accept shifts on short notice when needed
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including assisting with mobility, transfers, and personal care
• Must pass background check, drug screening, and required assessments
• $20.00-$22.50/hr, depending on experience
• $800-$900/week before taxes at 40 hours per week

Work Area

This role supports clients in homes across the greater Philadelphia area, including Philadelphia, Montgomery County, and surrounding communities. Because client homes may be spread across both city and suburban areas, this position requires reliable transportation, flexibility, and comfort planning travel between assignments when needed.
