Job summary

The Waters in Minneapolis is seeking a caring resident assistant to provide personal care, meal assistance, and homemaking duties in a welcoming senior living environment.

You will work as part of a supportive team with block schedules, and gain opportunities to increase pay through the growth program. We offer holidays, benefits, and a pathway for those pursuing healthcare careers. An interview and tour await in this lovely community.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems.
• Compassion for hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility with hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated
• Assist residents in dining
• Provides homemaking tasks
• Responds to and reports changes in resident's health status and/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care
• Completes thorough daily charting
• Works well with a team to provide a caring environment
