Job summary

The Waters Senior Living Management LLC is seeking a part-time Care Assistant for 3PM-11:30PM shifts in Minneapolis. You will help residents with personal care, dining, and daily living tasks within a welcoming community.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent required; preferred.
• Minimum 1 year nursing/resident assistant care in senior services.
• Strong English reading/writing; basic computer skills; willingness to learn EHR.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning.
• Assist residents in dining.
• Perform homemaking tasks.
• Report changes in health status or care plan recommendations.
• Complete thorough daily charting.
• Work well with a team in a caring environment.
• Follow block schedules and maintain the community setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provides personal care services including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated
• Assist residents in dining
• Provides homemaking tasks
• Responds to and reports changes in resident's health status and/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care
• Completes thorough daily charting
• Works well with a team to provide a caring environment

Qualifications:

• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems
• Possess compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to be flexible with hours'/shift schedules and assignments
