Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Franklin is seeking a Lead Caregiver to join our caregiver-first leadership team. This role is ideal for an experienced caregiver or CNA who excels at delivering compassionate care and is ready to take on more responsibility.

Your duties include covering caregiver callouts, providing rapid response care, supervising visits, training staff, meeting new clients, updating care plans, and ensuring our care standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of caregiver or CNA experience.
• Ability to supervise and train other caregivers.
• Excellent communication and empathy.
• Ability to adapt to varied client needs and schedules.

Responsibilities

Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring a Lead Caregiver to join our Franklin-based team.

This is a caregiver-first leadership position for an experienced caregiver or CNA who is exceptional at providing care and ready to take on more responsibility.

Your first priority is providing great care. Our Lead Caregivers must be comfortable working with a wide variety of clients, care needs and situations. In addition to regular client care, you may:

• Step in to cover caregiver callouts when needed
• Provide Rapid Response care for urgent or short-notice client needs
• Conduct supervisory visits with clients and caregivers
• Train and support other caregivers in the field
• Conduct meet & greets and help introduce caregivers to new clients
• Assist with reviewing and updating client care plans
• Help ensure our standards of care are being followed in the home
• Communicate changes, concerns and recommendations to our Client Services team

Lead Caregivers are trusted members of our care team who can walk into different situations, confidently provide excellent care and help support both our clients and caregivers.

Because of the nature of the position, flexibility is essential. You should be comfortable with different clients, changing needs and stepping in when the team needs you.
