Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of six months supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR certification or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• CNA or Personal Care Aide (80-Hour) within 6 months of hire.
• Medication Aide Certification within 60 days of check off.
• Medication Aide Check off within 30 days of hire.
• Medication Aide Certification within 60 days of check off.
• No substantiated findings on NC Personnel Registry or Health Care Program.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies in administering medications to residents.
• Note and report errors in medication administration.
• Participate in QA Programs and committees impacting medication pass.
• Attend Care Plan meetings and ongoing education to stay certified.
• Ensure safety and proper storage of medications and supplies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per Care Plans.
• Maintain resident dignity, safety, and well-being at all times.
• Coordinate with staff and Administrator for resident needs and call-ins.
