Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech II to assist physicians in invasive cardiac and related procedures, and to help evaluate new technologies and trials. You will support quality-based departmental initiatives and collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols.

Minimum credentials include an accredited cardiovascular technologist or radiologic technologist education, with strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist or radiologic technologist program or applied science program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive cardiac, neuro/neurovascular, vascular/endovascular, electrophysiology and circulatory support devices.
• Assist with evaluation and implementation of new technologies and adherence to clinical trial protocols.
• Support quality improvement initiatives within the department.
