Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Heart Hospital is seeking a seasoned cardiothoracic surgeon to assume a key leadership role within our high-acuity cardiovascular program. You will guide Oklahoma’s only heart and lung transplant program and contribute to our Top 10 LVAD program, supported by a strong team of cardiologists and ECMO/MCS specialists.

The role encompasses clinical duties, program leadership, quality improvement, and strategic growth for transplant and MCS services.

Qualifications

• Experienced cardiothoracic surgeon.
• Fellowship training in heart and/or lung transplantation and MCS preferred.
• Experience in advanced heart failure surgery, transplant, LVAD, ECMO, and complex cardiothoracic care.
• Proven leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical care in adult cardiac, thoracic, transplant, and mechanical circulatory support.
• Serve as a clinical leader within the transplant and MCS programs, partnering with hospital leadership and multidisciplinary teams.
• Advance program development, quality initiatives, and innovation across heart and lung transplant, LVAD, ECMO, and complex cardiothoracic surgery.
• Participate in call coverage in a shared, team-oriented model.
