Qualifications

• Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in heart and/or lung transplantation and mechanical circulatory support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical care in adult cardiac, thoracic, transplant and mechanical circulatory support.
• Evaluate and manage patients, document care, and maintain complete medical records.
• Identify medical issues and select appropriate procedures and testing.
• Lead and collaborate with transplant and mechanical circulatory support multidisciplinary teams.
• Advance program development, quality improvement and innovation in transplant, LVAD, ECMO and cardiothoracic surgery.
• Participate in shared call coverage and support efficient practice operations.

Education

Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery

Fellowship training in heart and/or lung transplantation and mechanical circulatory support
