Job summary

Schedule typically Monday–Thursday 7:00 am–4:30 pm and Friday 7:00 am–1:00 pm; requires an Associate degree in Allied Health Sciences or equivalent, plus Basic Arrhythmia course and BCLS certification, with four years’

Qualifications

• Four years of experience performing ECG, Holter monitoring, Holter scanning, and related cardiac stress testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for ECG, Holter monitor, and/or stress test exams and explains procedures.
• Manages multi-patient task lists and prioritizes appropriately.
• Maintains patient flow and delivers high-quality services within the department.
• Mentors staff and less experienced technologists; participates in orientation for new hires.
• Responds to Code Blue calls as part of the resuscitation team and presents ECG tracings to physicians.
• Ensures safety, infection control, and compliance with hospital policies.
• Assists with schedules and participates in department committees.
• Oversees supply management and equipment maintenance.
• Drives performance improvement activities within the department.
