Job summary

University-Health-3 seeks a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer specialized in cardiac imaging to produce high-quality transthoracic images and support cardiology diagnostics.

The role requires an associate degree in diagnostic medical sonography, ARDMS/CCI registries, and at least two years of echocardiography experience, plus current BLS certification. You will lead activities and collaborate closely with physicians and patients.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required.
• RDCS or RCS registry required.
• At least 2 years of echocardiography experience.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic cardiac images.
• Demonstrate knowledge of thoracic anatomy and cardiac structures.
• Apply echocardiography principles (M-Mode, 2-D, Doppler) in daily practice.
• Lead leadership activities and maintain strong working relationships with staff, patients and physicians.
