Qualifications

• Must meet all eligibility requirements of the Cardiac Sonographer II.
• Three (3) years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer.
• Active participation in five (5) or more of the specified professional activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and prioritizes ordered exams.
• Collaborates with physicians, fellows, residents and staff.
• Collects medical information and patient histories.
• Performs transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography exams.
• Disinfects probes and maintains exam area.
• Performs quantitative measurements and reports findings.
• Maintains patient data logs and restocks supplies.
