Job summary

Progress West Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, seeks an experienced cardiac sonographer to perform comprehensive cardiac testing including treadmill stress, Holter monitoring, and echocardiography. The role leads the Cardiac Diagnostic Lab team, supports credentialing, and coordinates lab activities across multiple sites.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma in Sonography, RDCS or equivalent preferred, and 2–5 years of direct experience; advanced credentials and leadership

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED - Sonography required.
• RDCS or equiv certification preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience preferred.
• Proficient in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Performs tests and procedures at various locations.
• Functions as lead by maintaining credentials, handling quality assurance activities, and auditing cases.
