Mass General Brigham is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer Lead to independently perform echocardiograms, including complex cases, in hospital-based and pediatric settings. You will coordinate schedules, liaise with leadership, and contribute to quality assurance and accreditation efforts.
The role requires RDCS and/or RCS credentials, BLS, and 5–7 years of sonography experience. Onsite work located at 52 Second Avenue, with a 40-hour week and day shifts.

Job Summary
The Cardiac Sonographer Lead is responsible for independently performing all echocardiograms, including those that are very complex, in the hospital-based and/or pediatric settings. The sonographer lead will serve as the liaison between sonographers and leadership. They are also responsible for coordinating the sonographer schedule and coverage under the guidance of the manager and medical director. The sonographer lead is involved in accreditation applications and ongoing quality assurance projects. They are expected to provide constructive feedback to staff and input on staff performance evaluations, hiring, and corrective action. Responsibilities may change over time at the discretion of department leadership to meet the department’s evolving needs.
