Job summary

Main Line Health in Media, PA is seeking a Lead Cardiac Sonographer for a full-time day schedule with on-call and weekend rotations. You will supervise ultrasound staff across radiology, echocardiography and vascular labs.

This position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 per year. ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RCS certification within 1 year of hire is required; JRCERT-approved program or 3 years of cardiac lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RCS certification within 1 year of hire.
• Graduate of JRCERT approved program or 3 years of experience in a cardiac diagnostic lab.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical supervision of personnel for ultrasound studies in radiology, echocardiography and/or vascular.
• Monitors workflow and all technical aspects of the ultrasound area to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Monitors equipment issues, supplies and participates in Quality Improvement Plan.
• Performs ultrasound studies pertinent to the lead role for various patient populations (neonatal to geriatric).

Compensation:

$39.53 - $60.49/hr.

Experience

• Three years' experience as Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
• Experience in a specialized, accredited cardiac lab preferred.
• Experience in vascular ultrasound preferred.

Education

Graduate of JRCERT approved program or 3 years of experience in an institution with a specialized cardiac diagnostic lab.

Licensures/Certifications

ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RCS certification required within 1 year of hire.
