Job summary

Main Line Health in Media, PA (Riddle Hospital) is seeking a Lead Cardiac Sonographer to provide technical supervision of ultrasound studies across radiology, echocardiography and vascular services. This full-time, day-shift role includes on-call and weekend rotations.

Compensation ranges from $39.53 to $60.49 per hour, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The position offers tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 per year and opportunities for career growth within the Main Line Health family.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience as Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
• Experience in a specialized, accredited cardiac lab preferred.
• Experience in vascular ultrasound preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical supervision of ultrasound staff in radiology, echocardiography and/or vascular.
• Monitor workflow and all technical aspects of an ultrasound area; manage equipment issues and supplies; participate in Quality Improvement Plan.
• Perform ultrasound studies pertinent to lead role (radiology, echo, or vascular) for neonatal to geriatric patients.

Experience:

1. Three years' experience as Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist preferred.

2. Experience in a specialized, accredited cardiac lab preferred. Experience in vascular ultrasound preferred

Education:

Graduate of JRCERT approved program or 3 years of experience in an institution with a specialized cardiac diagnostic lab.

Licensures/Certifications:

ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RCS certification required within 1 year of hire.
