Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in our cardiac lab. You will operate ultrasound equipment, prepare patients for exams, and evaluate image quality while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The position offers a path to certification/licensure within one year and opportunities to travel to other Main Line Radiology locations. Experience in a specialized cardiac lab and a cardiovascular tech background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years experience as Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
• Experience in a specialized, accredited cardiac lab preferred.
• RDCS or RVT from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or RCS with Cardiovascular Credentialing International preferred at time of hire; required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic procedures for a variety of patients.
• Prepare patients for procedures and evaluate images for technical quality.
• Collaborate with the medical team and travel to other Main Line Radiology locations as needed.

Position: Sonographer

Shift: 40hrs/wk (either 4×10 or 5×8 hr shifts)

Experience

1. Three years experience as Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
2. Experience in a specialized, accredited cardiac lab preferred.

Education

Cardiology Graduate of a cardiac ultrasound training program (Accredited Program Preferred) with an Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or 3 years experience in the field.

Licensures/Certifications

RDCS or RVT from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or RCS with Cardiovascular Credentialing International preferred at time of hire; required within one year of hire..
