Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a Cardiology Technician at Riddle Hospital to perform diagnostic stress testing, Holter hookup and scanning, and ECGs. You will use the MUSE system to prepare EKGs for physician review and handle billing and supply tasks.

The role requires basic ECG interpretation and cardiovascular knowledge and offers education growth opportunities. Shift is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with opportunities for tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 per year based on full/part-time

Qualifications

• Certification or minimum 6 months experience performing treadmill stress testing, holter scanning and electrocardiograms.
• Basic ECG and arrhythmia interpretation required.
• Basic knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology and terminology required.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic stress testing (Nuclear Medicine and Echo Stress Testing), holter monitor hookup and scanning, and electrocardiograms.
• Utilize the MUSE system to prepare EKGs downloaded from carts and prepare them for physician reading.
• Charge appropriately and assign billing for all services rendered.
• Maintain equipment and restock supplies.

Experience:

Education:

Graduate of a formal program in cardiovascular technology preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:

• Certified cardiographic technician preferred.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required. (exception BMH).
