RWJBarnabas Health in Hamilton, NJ, seeks a Lead Technician for the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role delivers technical expertise during pre- and post-catheterization, performs phlebotomy, EKGs, and blood sugar monitoring under RN supervision, ensuring patient safety and workflow efficiency.

You will manage scheduling, chart prep, EPIC data entry, and staff mentoring while maintaining inventory to support high-quality cardiac care in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred (e.g., Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, LPN).
• Completion of telemetry class or NetLearning module.
• Ability to lead workflows and mentor peers.
• Proficiency with EPIC and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide tech support during pre/post cardiac catheterization; perform phlebotomy and EKGs under RN supervision.
• Manage daily unit workflow and patient throughput.
• Coordinate scheduling and cross-department testing.
• Oversee chart preparation and medical record transcription.
• Enter orders into EPIC and track results.
