Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking a Lead Captain for the Gulfstream G550 based at Santa Ana (KSNA). You will act as PIC/SIC as required, ensure strict compliance with flight and maintenance schedules, and manage crew deployments and training coordination.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory adherence, and representing CLA culture. Qualified candidates will hold an ATP, G550 rating, and First Class Medical, with Part 91/135 knowledge, and reside within a 2-hour drive of KSNA.

Qualifications

• ATP certificate required and current
• First Class Medical required
• G550 type rating required and current
• FAA Part 91/135 knowledge applicable to operation
• Driver's license and passport valid
• Residence within 2 hours' drive to KSNA required

Responsibilities

• Act as Pilot in Command or Second in Command.
• Ensure compliance with flight schedules and SOPs.
• Monitor crew performance and assist in annual reviews.
• Review expense reports and invoices; manage scheduling.
• Coordinate with DOM/ACM to ensure aircraft readiness.
• Maintain regulatory authorizations and aircraft paperwork.
• Liaise with Training, ACM and flight dept. staff.
