Job summary

Clay Lacy Aviation seeks a Lead Captain for our Gulfstream G600 base in San Jose, CA. You will serve as Pilot-in-Command, ensure safety, and manage the flight crew with a strong focus on customer service and regulatory compliance.

Applicants must hold an ATP, Gulfstream G600 rating, and a current medical certificate. International experience is preferred; relocation within two hours’ drive is required if not already local.

Qualifications

• FAA ATP certificate required.
• Gulfstream G-VII (G600) type rating.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• International experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead PIC for Gulfstream G600 operations, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and supervise flight crew; oversee CRM and professional development.
• Ensure safety, SMS participation, and adherence to FARs/ICAO; manage inspections and airworthiness.
