Job summary

Clay Lacy Aviation, a leader in private aviation, seeks a Lead Captain to ensure safe, compliant flight operations and seamless coordination within the flight department. You will act as PIC/SIC, manage crew schedules, oversee training events, review expenses, and uphold CLA culture.

The role requires ATP, a G550 rating, and proximity to KSNA. You will collaborate with the ACM, DOM, and Director of Training to maintain top-tier client experiences.

Qualifications

• ATP certificate required and must remain current.
• G550 rating required; unexpired passport.
• Must reside within 2-hour drive to KSNA.
• Candidate must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Act as Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC) as designated.
• Ensure compliance with flight and maintenance schedules and directives.
• Monitor crew performance and coordinate with ACP and DOM.
• Review expense reports and invoices; assist in managing crew schedules.
• Coordinate with ACM on scheduling, billing, and owner approvals.
• Maintain required regulatory aircraft authorizations and paperwork.
