Chemours in New Johnsonville, TN is seeking a Capital Project Manager to lead engineering analyses and planning for capital projects typically over 50 million USD. You will manage scopes, schedules, costs, and interfaces with plant personnel, contractors, and suppliers from inception to initial operation.

The role requires a BS in engineering and at least 5 years of industrial experience, preferably in titanium dioxide manufacture or capital project management, with strong leadership,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering is required.
• Minimum of 5 years industrial experience, preferably in titanium dioxide manufacture or capital project management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and interface with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Work with plant engineering, operations, and maintenance to design and implement new facilities or upgrade processes.
• Develop design concepts, scope, and life-cycle cost analyses.
• Develop scopes of work, estimates, and specifications with QA to meet standards.
• Develop project accounting in SAP and create integrated schedules.
• Interface with contractors, equipment suppliers, and construction personnel to resolve issues and monitor progress.
• Oversee project cost, forecast spend, and manage changes to ensure timely completion.
