Job summary

Greenhouse Software, Inc. seeks a Sr. Manager, On-Demand Capacity Planning to own the commercial architecture of our physical supply chain across multiple major hubs.

You will build mathematical models to allocate compute power, balancing on-demand deployment with long-term commitments while protecting SLAs for enterprise customers. You will partner with Nscale Engineering and Supply Chain to forecast cluster availability, translate deployment dates into sellable inventory, and develop margin,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of rigorous experience in capacity planning, supply chain finance, or cloud operations at a hyperscaler or heavy-infrastructure firm.
• Advanced mastery of data modeling and the ability to digest large datasets (power costs, depreciation, utilization).
• High agency and ability to solve complex yield management problems under ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Yield management and optimization: design and manage capacity allocation frameworks for volatile on-demand and long-term commitments.
• Supply-to-sales translation: forecast cluster availability and translate deployment dates into sellable inventory for sales.
• Margin and utilization modeling: build dynamic financial models to track utilization and incentivize action to optimize capacity ROI.
• Cross-functional dispute resolution: arbitrate capacity allocation prioritizing strategic value and margin with data-driven decisions.
• Risk and depreciation modeling: account for hardware depreciation in pricing and capacity strategies.
