Job summary

PartsBadger is seeking a Lead CAM Programmer to coordinate a team of developers and oversee the creation, review, and update of CAM programs for high-mix low-volume manufacturing. The role involves leading remote programmers, enforcing Best Practices, and maintaining first-part success across numerous parts.

You will work with Fusion 360 and Haas machinery, review tooling, train staff, and continuously improve processes in a fast-paced shop environment in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Experience with various programming software (Mastercam, Fusion360, Esprit, etc)
• Ability to quickly learn new applications (Fusion360)
• Experience with Programming Haas Machines

Responsibilities

• CNC CAM Program Reviewing, Editing, and Creating (Fusion 360)
• Keyence IM Programming and Editing
• CAD Modeling
• Troubleshooting Issues/Tickets
• Meetings with Programming Team
• Updating, and Deploying new Best Practices & SOPs
• Testing tooling, new programming methods and approaches
• Ordering Tooling/Material as needed
• Maintaining and Updating Programmer KPIs
• Coordinating Activities with Remote Programming Team
• Creating & Updating Best Practices Including Documentation and Training
• Perform bi-weekly 1:1 meetings with the remote Programming Team
