Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Calibration Technician for the Metrology Lab in Windsor Locks, CT. You will provide technical leadership and support for calibration operations, ensuring accurate and timely services across the site.

You will train technicians, troubleshoot equipment, and drive continuous improvement in measurement systems while collaborating with production, test, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in metrology, calibration, instrumentation, measurement systems is preferred.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and support to technicians and cross-functional teams.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve calibration procedures and standards.
• Provide technical support for day-to-day calibration operations.
• Ensure calibration activities comply with applicable quality requirements and standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and systems.
• Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to metrology technicians.
• Lead automation, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of measurement systems.
• Partner with production, test, laboratory, and engineering teams to address calibration and measurement needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes, equipment performance, and overall service delivery.
