Job summary

Lead Metrology Technician will provide day-to-day support for the Metrology Program calibrating IMTE and guiding workflow with other technicians. Lead Technician will be involved with providing training and coverage for lab activities to support customers. Will assist Lab Manager in monitoring trends through calibration metrics.

We follow HS&E requirements, commit to safe practices, and aim to deliver high-quality calibration services for government projects in a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred or applicable technical training and 7 years of directly related experience.
• Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• Formal training from a military, PMEL, TMDE or calibration school is preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship status is required due to client requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations on dimensional, physical, and electrical equipment.
• Calibrate standards used in calibrations.
• Ensure documentation conforms to Quality Systems requirements.
• Perform complex configuration and tests of equipment according to instructions and drawings.
• Use common laboratory measuring, calibrating, and test equipment.
• Proficient in understanding work instructions and site procedures.
