Asplundh Electrical Testing in Foxborough, MA is seeking a Calibration Technician with strong metrology expertise to join our high-performance operations team. You will perform in-lab and field calibrations, manage workflows, and ensure NIST-traceable accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes data integrity, audit readiness, and continuous improvement, with travel to customer sites as needed and collaboration across quality, safety, and operations.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of hands-on calibration and metrology experience.
• Experience from labs, field, or military calibration roles.
• Strong foundation in electrical measurement principles, calibration theory, and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-lab and on-site calibrations for electrical, mechanical, and thermal instruments with full traceability to NIST or equivalent standards.
• Manage calibration workflows, records, and assets using Fluke MET/CAL, MET/TEAM, and the Fluke Customer Portal.
• Evaluate calibration results for drift, stability, uncertainty, and process capability; recommend corrective actions and interval adjustments.
• Prepare detailed reports using Crystal Reports and advanced Excel functions.
• Support audits by presenting procedures, records, and traceability documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement using data-driven analysis.
• Work in lab and field environments, including standing and lifting.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
