Job summary

Instrument Calibration Solutions, LLC in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Calibration Technician to join our laboratory team. This role requires meticulous calibration work on electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical instruments, with opportunities to support field service at customer sites.

You will work independently, apply metrology principles, and produce compliant documentation while traveling locally as needed. Growth opportunities exist for advancing technical depth and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Hands-on experience in a calibration lab, field service, or related technical environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Travel locally with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, adjustment, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and process instrumentation.
• Execute calibration work independently in the lab and at customer sites as assigned.
• Apply measurement techniques, uncertainty concepts, and TAR/TUR principles.
• Accurately complete calibration certificates, reports, and documentation.
• Interpret customer PO, specifications and technical docs.
• Coordinate with operations and scheduling to meet turnarounds.
• Maintain calibration standards and work areas in a safe, organized condition.
• Interface professionally with customers to clarify requirements.
