Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Cable Engineer/Principal Cable Engineer Technical Services to join the team in McClellan, CA. You will provide technical guidance on cable and harness products, perform routing and documentation, and support prototype and production activities.

The role requires a BS in engineering or related field with experience in cable routing, CAD tools, and the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance. Travel and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science (BS) in science, engineering, or related discipline with 2 years of experience; or MS with no experience.
Demonstrated experience with cable/harness design, routing and documentation.
2D and 3D cable routing and design experience with CAD packages.

Responsibilities

Provide technical advice on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement of cable & harness products and systems.
Troubleshoot cable harness problems and modify products to customer requirements.
Support and participate in 3D cable routing and drawings; work at customer sites as needed.
Package CCAs and electronic modules for airborne environments; develop design reviews and technical data packages.
Collaborate within an integrated product team and share best practices.
